A Playbook on Learning Differences
The Learning Differences Playbook is a tool for educators to help bridge the “knowing-doing” gap that exists for how we improve the educational outcomes of students of color with learning differences.
The “plays” outlined in this document are gathered from educators, parents, and advocates. They address classroom practice, school-based protocols, and wider systemic issues in order to wholly transform how we teach and how our students achieve.
This playbook is intended to be your partner along the way in the process of intentionally questioning biases and limitations within the educational system, and not a one-size-fits-all remedy or recipe.
This playbook was made possible by support from the Oak Foundation and a grant from MDC.
