Charlotte Equity Fellowship (Discontinued)

The Charlotte Equity Fellowship’s purpose is to provide the funding and resources to community-based organizers to build capacity in grassroots communities to address issues of educational inequity and economic immobility to build the infrastructure for organizing within their communities. This infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, community co-created educational programming, meaningful relationships and connections between community members, increased grassroots leadership capacity, and the ability to have self-determination.

This fellowship intends to amplify the leadership of neighborhood-based leaders and increase the capacity of Charlotte-based organizing and movement building. CREED’s organizational culture is one of educational analysis, debate, experimentation, liberation, and joy.
